JAWAPAN MATEMATIK I PMR 2013...!

Hj. Zaidi bin Ismail, guru subjek Matematik SMS. Tengku Muhammad Faris Petra kerana sudi berkongsi jawapan dengan pembaca sekalian.

    3. PQ and QR are not of the same length.
      Here's the working:
      ∠PRS= 180- 2(180-110)
      =180- 2(70)
      =180-140
      =40°
I got 70° from subtracting 110° from 180° because PST is a straight line. Then, I multiplied it by 2 because triangle PRS is an isosceles triangle (2 sides of the same length).

      In a circle, opposite angles is equal to 180°. Thus,∠QRS +∠QPS = 180°
      From there we know that∠QRS = 42°+40°=82°
      Therefore, 82°+∠QPS= 180°
      ∠QPS=180°-82°
      =98°
      Hence,∠QPS= x =98°
      Answer: B

Your argument is invalid. I apologise for my bad English.

    1. radius of the base of the cone (circle): 10/2= 5cm
slant height of the cone:√ 12²+5²= 13cm (I refer this slant height as s)
Formula for surface area of cone:
      πr²+πrs=total surface area of cone
      5²π+(5x13)π
      25π+65π
      =90π
